An Online Persona

I’ve added a blogroll to the sidebar, additional to the longer one here. I emailed some readers when I un-privatised my first post here – ie. when I started to blog at AtMoM properly – in April, asking that they not add it to any blogroll they may themselves have, as I was scared of the ramifications of any visibility. I’m not now. Sod it; I have nothing to hide. So, if you’d like to add it to your list, please do go ahead 🙂 Don’t feel an obligation to do so, but the option is open to you.

Prophecy

My first (and last) post ended up being rather prophetic, for reasons I don’t feel would be appropriate to discuss. I have more integrity than to voice any criticism or judgement of others on a public forum.

Instead, I wanted to think a little about what I want from this blog. My last one was almost exclusively about mental health issues, and I expect that that will be the primary focus of this – but I don’t want it to be the only one. I have a range of physical health issues that I haven’t had anywhere to complain about yet (or, at least, nowhere that has survived), so I would expect some occasional discussion of those. However, I think it’s also important that I write not just about health concerns in their myriad guises. When I feel like it, I’d like to be able to discuss politics, telly, books, blah blah.

A New Year’s Resolution

In recognition of the arrival of 2012, I decided that rather than partaking in the usual hollow vows of quitting smoking, going on a diet or boycotting Facebook (though the latter especially sounds appealing), I’d resolve to do something a little different. I’d end my tenure as a blogger.

Huh? How can you cease to blog when you’re posting your first entry on a new…well, blog?!
